We started a tradition last year of doing an interview every year so we can document how their interests change each year. Here's Jack's interview:
Favorite color: Black (He might mean brown, he still confuses them occasionally.)
Favorite animal: He first said "I don't like animals", but then changed his mind and said "Small monkeys are soooo cute and adorable!". Something I've never heard before.
Favorite TV Show: Monster Jam (they show the monster truck shows on Speed channel)
Favorite Movie: Mighty Machines (a movie from the library about various trucks)
Favorite Food: Pizza (Jack can eat at least 4 large slices)
Favorite Hobby: Monster Jam on the Xbox
Favorite Dessert: Pizza Dessert and Ice creamWhat do you want to do when you grow up: Monster Truck Man
So as you can tell by the interview, Jack is a little obsessed with monster trucks. The other day he was saying that something started with the letter A, he said "A says ah, like Dennis Anderson." Dennis Anderson is the driver of Grave Digger. He can also identify many of the other drivers. He mispronounces his name like "Denner Annison", so my sister,Sunny, thought he said Jennifer Aniston, which was even weirder.
He loves mud. He'll find mud anywhere and get completely covered in it. It's a problem, but I also kind of secretly love it.
We had a monster truck birthday party for him. His hair was getting a little out of control.
I made a monster truck cake.
We went to Monster Jam for his birthday. We rode the train to Salt Lake. Jack knew all the names of the monster trucks there was even a lady who got shot out of a cannon. It was a great time for everyone.
Here's a funny joke Jack tells:
Why did the orange go to the doctor?
Because he was TOO juicy!
Hahahahaha
Whenever Jack want attention and wants to say something but doesn't know what this is what he says (he'll say this to ANYONE who will listen, including strangers):
"Hey, want to hear a crazy, crazy poem?"
(then he'll say this, in rhythm:)
"Pussy cat, pussycat, where have you been?
Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow!"
I love my little buddy.
