Christmas Eve night out

Jared here. So after I got home from work on Christmas Eve, we went East to Mesa. Jenny has had a couple of events planned and this was one of them. We were to go to dinner at a place called Organ Stop Pizza. http://www.organstoppizza.com/ Check out the website. The pizza was sub par, but we expected it to be, but the music was awesome. This organ is on a elevated motorized platform surrounded by hundreds of seats and a wrap around 2nd level. It is the worlds largest Wurlitzer Theater organ, 6,000 pipes and 800 pulls and stops. The building has 40 foot ceilings for accoustics but also to make room for all the instruments that line the walls. They are all air actuated, some of the neat ones were the sets of xylophones, drums, piano, accordians....You have to check out the website. After that we went to the Mesa Temple to look at the lights. It is a beautiful temple and they did a great job on the lights. Jenny got a new stroller for her birthday and loves it. It is a great jogging side by side stroller and both the kids love it, we even got 5 or 6 comments on it from strangers while we were there. Pictures never do lights justice, especially on the 60 ft tall palm trees that were all decked out. Lily loved the orange tree with the lights on it, Jennys favorite was the Pine trees that look all soft and subdued light from the filtering of the needles and my favorite was all the flowers we still have growing, lots of snap dragons, pansies, etc. Granted cold weather flowers, but still, we have flowers.
