Jack Turns 7!

My little boy is a big boy.  He has gotten so dense, when you pick him up it feels like his bones are full of lead.  He also has some lush, silky, luxurious hair.

Jack is a great reader.  The last few months he has really excelled and is reading chapter books and really difficult words.  He struggles in school a bit, he has a beginner teacher and apparently he makes a lot of annoying noises (I also had difficulties with talking too much and making noises in school.)

Jack is now in a parkour class.  He gets to climb up on high blocks and jump off.  He hangs on bars and learns how to do cool rolls.  Mostly I like it because it's helping him be brave and learn how to use his body and muscles and he likes it.

Jack is a handful.  He is so stubborn and so frustrating.  He can also be so unbelievably sweet.  He hates doing any kind of chore, but will surprise me by making my bed, or clean up even more then I asked just to be nice.  He's also a bit of a Don Juan, he got this from a girl in his class (It says "You or kyut", which translates to "You are cute":
He brought this home after St Patrick's day.  It says "My friend Elle is worth more to me than gold."

A bird ran into the window and died.  Jack had a burial for it.

For his birthday this year we had a Lego birthday.

I made an awesome Lego cake, which almost no one ate.

I made candy Lego guys and blocks, and also crayons.  They looked the same and a few kids took bites out of the crayons.

We played some fun games; find the hidden Lego guy, Lego Don't eat Pete, it was a good time.

Here is his birthday survey:
