Cousins, Aunts and Uncles

 We have the best extended family in the world and they don't get enough of a spotlight in the blog.  This one has more about the ones from Jenny's side.

Hannah, Eric and Cate came from Denver for the 4th of July.  But before they got here, we participated again in the Children's Parade.  This year we went with scooters.  They decorated them wonderfully.

We went to the balloon festival and ate pancakes in the camper after.

Annie loved them.

We rode bikes to the parade and to BYU to watch the fireworks.  It's a great way to avoid traffic.

We went up the canyon for a picnic and paddling around in my parent's canoe.

Two little cousins bouncing on Grandma.  They get territorial if Grandma or Papa is paying too much attention to one or the other.

We played in the water in the the back yard.

Jack and Cate are pals.

 Cate often has a very serious face, but she's a fun kid.  All the kids love her and talk about her often.  She celebrated her 2nd birthday with a little party.

The grown up girls went out for lunch and a pedicure.

As for Sunny, we're lucky that she is closer by and will come over and visit after work sometimes.  She has a very demanding job and sometimes she's tired.

After Jared went on a trip to NYC for work, he surprised me with a special date night with Sunny to see Neil Diamond.  It was pretty awesome.  Sunny LOOOOOOVES Neil.

It was pretty great.
