What's happening?

So other than Jack's birthday we haven't been up to very much. Lily got sick, than Jack, than me, than Jared and we were all sick for a really long time. We kept having to reschedule Jack's birthday party. We found out that 3 out of 4 of us had strep throat and after 2 weeks and a round of anti-biotics we are all better. Jack coughed a lot at night while he was sick, and I made a bad decision and gave him a cough drop. In perfect Jack fashion, he didn't eat it, just got it all sticky and it got stuck in his hair. Jamal loves asparagus, beans, and peas and here he is after swiping asparagus out the sink.

We grew an Amaryllis in a pot on our table from a bulb that we got for Christmas, it was fun to watch it grow from a tiny sprout.

Now that Jack is such a big boy, he got to go to the dentist for the first time. He did such a great job and didn't cry at all.

Finally, last Saturday we went to a St Patricks Day party at Lily's school. It was really fun, although it's been difficult to try and explain to her what the holiday is about. They got balloon animals, decorated cookies, played games, it was great fun.
